Lots of activity this week to install our new pumps to our retail canopy. Thank you for your patience. Our old pumps were 20 years old so about time for an upgrade. These new ones are state of the art and recover excess vapours and control temperatures to be better for the environment as we lose less fuel vapour to the atmosphere. We also now have high speed pumps for lane 1 and 2. Come on down and check them out! All told it was a £80,000 investment for our family business so we really hope you like them.

Huge savings right now on all fuel grades for our community against local competitors. Before anyone asks the Braintree Road Texaco prices are wrong! They need to sort out their feed into the national database. Please pop by and support the shop, every purchase whether it be a coffee or a sarnie really does help us keep our fuel prices flowing cheaper for longer. Hope to see you very soon! ⛽️

We understand price increases are tough on everyone right now. Please consider the information contained within the link below to provide the data behind the price rises and why this does not mean your local fuel retailer is making mega profits. Just because they look like BP or Shell doesn’t mean they are owned by them. A lot of these businesses use the brands like franchises. Us being one of them. We are working to reduce fuel prices as quickly as possible. The lower the prices the more we sell funnily enough. It is a price elastic product. By supporting the shop side of the business you can really help lower prices for longer, even buying a coffee or a chocolate bar can really help. Appreciate your support and understanding at this difficult time.

Prices compared today folks. We know these recent price increases are the last thing we all need. We are absorbing some of the margin as costs rise. Please come and shop with your UK owned and UK tax paying family business. Trying to do right by our community. Asda, Morrisons, MFG sites all majority owned by American private equity companies moving profits abroad.

Huge thanks to all our new Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) customers! Great to see so many people using this green alternative to diesel. This helps us reuse our existing diesel vehicles rather than buy expensive overseas made electric vehicles and comply with carbon targets. If only we can get the government to reduce the VAT on it! Starts with signing a quick petition!

HVO is a viable alternative fuel to Diesel. Using it we believe that we can reuse our existing fuel infrastructure and vehicles and make use of a product to support an orderly transition to net zero in realistic timescales without reliance on imported electric vehicles made overseas.
