Last week, we were at a school in Essex constructing a Smooga Arena in their playground.

Complete with flexible, target goals which are lightweight and foldable, they are now set up with a brilliant year-round dedicated space for sports and games.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Sir John Moore C.E Primary school in Derbyshire. Grade 1 listed and designed by Christopher Wren, this was a very beautiful school and a special project.

The students were struggling to keep hockey and cricket games going, because when the balls went out of play, they disappeared into dense trees and woodland. This broke the flow of play with pupils spending valuable play time trying to find the missing balls.

We installed a Smooga Arena to outline the existing play space and provide a robust barrier to keep balls contained within the play zone. Not only did this help to keep track of balls, but it also deterred pupils who were not involved with the game from walking across the pitch. The remainder of the playground could be used for different games and activities, meaning that everyone got a place to play 🎉

It was big blue skies in the North East today when we visited Hebburn Comprehensive School in South Tyneside and delivered and constructed a smart, green Smooga Arena.

This is a fantastic addition to their brilliant playground, creating a dedicated zone for a huge range of sports and games - leaving the remaining playground for other activities.
