Finished this cladding today for our lovely neighbours
We stripped the old upvc cladding which had been fixed on top on the original wooden tongue and grove
We added new felt and treated batten with ventilation voids to stop damp and mould buildup
Then we finished with a mountain sage colour fibre cement hardie plank

The house now looks so modern with this great product

⭐️⭐️ FULL KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION ⭐️⭐️

What can I say about this job, the finish is like something out of a catalogue, it’s absolutely stunning

From talking to the customer we were told what she wanted to achieve and we delivered

We took a wall out and put a steel In to open up the space
We removed the old kitchen
We added all new electrics, plumbing, water main, new gas feed, new lvt flooring, new plastering, new skirting and architrave, new kitchen with worktops and appliances, new painting, new door with sliding track, new painting and new mastic work

The work that went into this kitchen was unreal
A huge thankyou to all my team for completing this masterpiece

We’ve got a extremely happy customer and we keep our reputation going strong as one of the best in Essex

We removed this chimney today for a lovely woman in Colchester

As the house is over a 100 years old it had started to show signs of old age like many chimneys today
It had a lead back gutter but cement flaunching up the side and to the front where lead should be

The cement had split letting water in
The chimney was moving due to no cement in the joints
The cap was broken
The list is endless
So the customer asked us to remove it that way she will never have to worry about it leaking again

We supplied the scaffold
We removed it, added a new supporting rafter, felt and battened then tiled the roof in
We completed a new verge with new cement

Just completed this wall removal for a young couple in wivenhoe today

New catnic box lintel fitted to enable us to open up there dining and living room
Electrics repositioned
Prepped and plastered
All structural calculations arranged by us

2 separate slate roofs done these last two days

Both absolutely needed renewing, broken slates and letting water in causing damage to the house

We stripped all the slates off and replaced with new Spanish 10 x 20 slates, new breathable felt, new treated batten, slates fixed with copper nails and new 12 inch lead

We’ve been getting a lot of phone calls recently about squirrels 🐿️ getting into peoples lofts and causing so much damage
So today we helped a lady out in wivenhoe with this issue, the squirrels had chewed through some of her lights and destroyed a lot of the insulation
So we stripped the roof line and added some eave trays with built in comb filler, we fixed a batten behind the comb filler for extra protection and then we added chicken wire for even more protection

Been a bit of a slow start to the year for Stalleys Roofing & Building Services due to the weather being horrendous but we kicked off with this lovely job for a couple on the village
A 4 hip double garage that was a bit old with the ridges all being loose and half the roof covered in ivy

So we stripped all the ivy and re cemented all the ridges back on bringing the roof back to its glory
We were asked to add a special toad weather vane on to match the houses great name “ Toad Hall “

⭐️⭐️BRIGHTLINGSEA FASCIA JOB ⭐️⭐️

So this job was a very complex one and needed some real thought

The building had original finlock sectional concrete gutters that were leaking so badly they had caused extreme black mould in the property
The only way to replace this issue was to remove them all on both sides and replace with new structural load bearing steels and form a new fascia detail, and the add standard guttering and a independent downpipe so our property had a perfect working gutter system

It was some job getting a 200 kg steel up 3 stories but as usual Stalleys Roofing & Building Services got the job done safely and on time

We now have a extremely happy customer and a building that will dry out and be renovated
