Still very much work in progress. This my efforts to wood clad a Rice trailer. I would definitely describe the process as ‘challenging’. Hopefully the end result will justify the brain ache.

Nice little 50w panel by Renorgy. Fits very neatly between the front roof supports on a Rice double. Not the greatest output, but enough for some LED lighting.

Work on the side ramp is also progressing. So to act as a level staging area I’ve utilised these ramp supports. They are detachable for transport. When needed they simply attach via Clevis pin and are height adjustable to achieve a level platform.

Still work in progress, but ramp is starting to take shape. The main section is able to be folded in two and I’ve made the lower part of its rear storage/transport frame.

Update on the disabled loo conversion. For the last couple of days I’ve concentrated on the ramp. This is the first trial fit. Still a way to go, but you can get the general idea.

Todays job. Rear ramp has been replaced. Tongue and groove attached to frame and finally insulated with celotex.

Something slightly different in the workshop. I always try to have a little ‘back burner’ on the go and this time it’s a little caravan cocktail bar conversion. Customer wants a small bar for venues she can’t manoeuvre her normal larger mobile bar. First job was to swap out the leaking roof vent. This had failed, resulting in water damage the the framework. All damaged framework was replaced and the roof vent binned in favour of a simple patch repair.
