Bai Construction Ltd & Bai Roofing are looking for reliable, experienced tradespeople to join our growing team of contractors due to an ever-increasing workload across the Worcestershire area.

We’re looking for:
• Builders
• Groundworkers
• Carpenters
• Plumbers
• Electricians
• General Labourers
• Foremen
• Flat, pitched & metal roof installers

✅ Sub-contract work direct with us (no agencies or labour brokers)
✅ Ongoing work available
✅ Must have own tools & transport
✅ References required from previous main contractors

Rather large flat roof completed this week using the rubber fleece back system which we are an approved installation contractor for.
We stripped off the original asphalt and installed a warm deck system to modern regulations including new firrings, 150mm PIR insulation, vapour control layer and new deck. The fleece back not only gives a much nicer ascetic finish but reinforces the rubber to give vastly increased strength and resistance to puncturing.

**HIRING** We are looking for a freelance Quantity Surveyor, Site Forman and Administrator.

Quanity Surveyor/Estimator
- Undertake measures from tender drawings to create a BoQ and subsequent Cost Document.
- Send out enquires to subcontractors and compare/collate
- Assist with value engineering options
- Monthly Valuations and contract variations

Site Forman
- oversee the day to day site activities of sites and reporting in to contracts manager.
- maintaining and monitoring a programme of works
- Heath and safety paperwork
- First Aid and SSSTS ideal but up to date training offered to a suitable candidate if required.

Administrator
- Ideally Xero experience although not essential
- Casual hours to fit around your schedule
- Following up on correspondence and entering invoices

Fantastic progress over at our project near Alcester. 2 weeks in and we have demolished the old barn plinth by hand for reuse, dug and poured the foundations, block work up to dpc and installed the steel frame. Drainage is also nearing completion. The great weather has been a real help! Big thanks to J Williams Contracting who has done a superb job on the groundwork’s 💪

Office refurbishment underway in Worcester! Great local project for us with a new client. It is a beautiful old building which was an old pub and brewery ‘Golden Hart’ next to the Hop Market. Our scope of works is to renew all of the floor finishes, install wall panelling across all 3 floors, full redecoration, electrical alterations, new kitchen and bathrooms, flat roofing works and chimney reconstruction. The client has chosen some really great quality finishes so we are really excited to see this one come together 👌

New project underway near Alcester this week. We are demolishing the remains of the stone plinth which was once a barn and rebuilding to create an additional holiday let at this site. It is in a fantastic spot and the client and ourselves are really pleased to get underway. Stay tuned for updates and to see the completion photos in the summer.
