Architectural. We are a team of engineers based on the Herefordshire border . Together we design , fabricate and install many applications for the quarrying, architectural ,heavy construction and agricultural sectors. We have a fully equipped fabrication workshop and enjoy working for clients to produce quality bespoke products that last.

A massive thank you to everyone who came to visit us at RHS Malvern 🌸! We loved seeing all your incredible photos on our stand - you all looked right at home relaxing on The Reverie moongate swing. We pooled all of your entries and drew a winner completely at random... 🥁

We’re RHS - Royal Horticultural Society award winners ⭐️

We’re thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a 3 Star RHS Tradestand Award on our debut at RHS Malvern Spring Festival / Malvern Autumn Show in recognition of our high quality presentation.

The Judges commended the impact, design and consideration of our products and noted the planting and attention to placement.

To put this win into perspective, only 7 x 3 Stars and 1 x 4 Stars were awarded across three trade sections, including sculpture and craft!

This award recognises the hard work, skill and ambition of the entire Winthill team, so congratulations to Tom, Sean, Helena, Jon, Oz, Laurence and Holly. What an achievement.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us on our RHS Malvern journey.

Next year…we’re aiming for 5 stars 🤩

RHS Malvern Update 🌸
It’s been a productive week:

✨ The Reverie Moon Gate has been galvanised and treated with T-wash to create a soft glow!

🪚 We’ve cut, sanded and treated the timber for The Reverie swing and The Duir seat.

🧡 We’ve nurtured the ‘weathering’ of the Corten steel to produce just the right patina on The Duir - our oak-inspired seat

🪢 We’ve perfected our plaiting skills as we practice tying the rope for the swing!

💜 The Festival trio of planters made an entrance after being powder coated. They look epic.

🗞️ Oh, and we made the local newspaper - thank you, Malvern Gazette

Yes, we’ve given our super-sized planter a name - The Sarsen, and we’ve added it to ‘The Malvern Collection’ ahead of RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2026.

🍃 Inspired by the size and scale of the indestructible standing stones of the British Isles, The Sarsen brings a sense of permanence to your planting scheme.

The extra large Corten steel planters add height and structure to an open space and a focal point in a secluded corner. They look spectacular when paired or clustered together for maximum impact 💥. That’s why we’re taking five of them to RHS Malvern…Go big 💪, or go home!

Say hello to The Duir 🌳 - an oak-inspired Corten steel seat. Part of ‘The Malvern Collection’ on display at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2026.

Named for the ancient Celtic word for Oak – and the root of our word for door – The Duir is made from curved weathering steel, laser cut with an intricate oak tree motif. A squirrel ‘sits’ on the robust timber seat, nestled into the curve of the back rest.

In keeping with the show’s ‘Roots of the Future’ theme, The Duir honours the magnificence and endurance of the English oak tree, acknowledges the present – through materials and precision engineering, and looks towards the horizon (the future).

In harmony with the RHS Malvern theme, ‘Roots of the Future’, The Reverie responds to our deep-rooted love of nature – the hum of bees, the scent of cottage garden flowers, and the simple desire for a quiet moment, whether alone or with a loved one.

As you swing back and forth, you can feel the light breeze pass over your face; separated from the outside world, even just momentarily, it’s a sanctuary to contemplate, share stories and be revived.

🌸 We’re heading to RHS Malvern Spring Festival.

We’re thrilled to announce that Winthill Engineering will be making our debut at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival (7 - 10 May)!

To celebrate, we’re unveiling ‘The Malvern Collection’ - a brand new range of metalwork inspired by the show’s theme: Roots of the Future. We’ve taken the natural world and fused it with some bold and contemporary silhouettes and finishes.
