When your client's product makes it to 'that' kind of event.

One of our clients, Lifting the Mood, was recently featured at a major wellness event in New York City. Their beautifully designed adjustable weights were used in a pilates classes at Frame Fitness's launch event - where global star Dua Lipa was announced as the brand's new co-founder!

What we love most? LTM's founder was invited because of the supportive community she's built around women's strength and wellness. It's wonderful to see the entrepreneurial brands we work with getting recognition on the international stage. This is exactly the kind of meaningful, purpose-driven work we're passionate about supporting.

When your client's heritage gets recognised on BBC1, you know you're working with true design pioneers.

Earlier this year, our client Race Furniture welcomed the BBC Bargain Hunt team to their Cotswolds facility for a feature on British design heritage and manufacturing excellence.

The episode airs today spotlighting the remarkable legacy of Ernest Race - from post-war innovation using recycled materials to designs that continue to set standards in British manufacturing today.

At Simple Design Works, we're privileged to work with manufacturers like Race Furniture who understand that great design isn't just about aesthetics - it's about solving real problems with innovation that lasts.

Our work with Race on the award-winning Connect seating system demonstrates this perfectly. Developed for Loughborough University, Connect transformed traditional lecture theatre design by:

✓ Reducing space requirements whilst improving sight lines
✓ Integrating modern technology needs (power/data ports)
✓ Earning RIBA East Midlands Building of the Year and FX International Design Awards.

Over the last two years, we've been working with award-winning prosthetic manufacturer Blatchford to develop Avior - a groundbreaking microprocessor-controlled knee that's transforming mobility for amputees worldwide.

The challenge? Creating a device that's simultaneously lightweight yet robust and technically advanced yet intuitive to use.

We worked across multiple areas of the project including enclosure design, materials engineering, user interface development and production readiness. All while meeting strict IP65 protection standards plus weight and tolerance constraints. But if you know us well, you'll know that we love solving a complex brief.

The result? A responsive prosthetic knee that delivers 48-hour battery life, natural biomechanical performance and genuine peace of mind for wearers.
