A project that started with big plans and finished with a completely transformed home. From the new loft space right through to the rear extension and terrace, we delivered the full package:

What started as a loft conversion quickly became a whole lot more… 🏡

Our clients originally came to us looking to maximise their home with a new loft conversion — but while we were there, the project grew.

From plans to reality 🏡✨

A complete transformation of this family home, replacing the dated rear layout with a bright, modern open-plan living space.

This project included a new rear extension, major structural alterations, 3 rooflights, aluminium bifold doors, a bifold window and a complete internal refurbishment - creating a spacious kitchen, dining and living area that flows straight out into the garden. Outside we transformed the space with a wrap around patio and astro turf to really finish the build off.

BUILD DIARY | LOFT CONVERSION | WEEK 1 🏠🔨

A big first week on our latest loft conversion.

This week the team have been busy getting the project opened up and ready for the structural works:

🔨 Scaffolding erected
🧱 Chimney taken down
🏚️ Existing loft stripped out
🏗️ Structural steels delivered
🪵 Timber delivered
🔨 Gable sections erected and opened up

The messy stage - but this is where the transformation starts.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be documenting the build as the new structure takes shape, right through to the finished loft.

Week 1 complete. Onto the structure. 👊

BUILD DIARY | EXTENSION | WEEK 1 🏗️

We’re starting something a little different.

We like to show you the finished product but there’s a lot that happens before you ever get to that point.

So for this extension, we’re taking you through the full build week by week. The progress, the challenges, what went well and what didn’t quite go to plan.

Week 1 - Groundworks ⚒️

✓ Site set-up
✓ Existing patio carefully lifted
✓ Footings excavated
✓ New soakaway excavated & installed
✓ Drainage works underway
✓ Patio reinstated where works are complete
✓ Footings poured ready for the build to come out of the ground

Not the glamorous part of an extension but arguably one of the most important. The only thing here was the existing water main we discovered, however a quick call to building control and confirmation to lag the pipe before continuing and we were off again.

Next up: Week 2 👀

This kitchen and living transformation brings together clean modern design with features that make the whole space feel special.

The hidden utility has to be one of our favourite details, completely disguised until you need it. A proper open-plan family space, designed around how the home is actually lived in.
