Last week, our colleagues came together for a brilliant cause, raising £430 for Breast Cancer Now through our charity bake sale as part of Wear It Pink! 🩷

It was fantastic to see so many of our colleagues getting involved, whether by baking homemade treats, buying a cake, or just making a donation.

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, and helped organise the event. Your generosity will help support Breast Cancer Now's vital work in breast cancer research and support.

Between May and July, our solar panels generated the equivalent of 65.2% of the energy used across Nordell's operations.

Across those three months, we generated 135 MWh of solar energy. So far in 2026, that figure has reached 276 MWh, with solar generation up 4.2% year on year. The particularly sunny summer certainly helped!

Of course, energy use and solar generation don't always happen at the same time. We still use energy when the sun isn't shining, and when our panels generate more than we need, the excess goes back to the grid, helping to power local homes and businesses with clean energy.

It's great to see the impact our solar installation continues to have as we work to reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing operations 🪴
