🎉 Celebrating 15 years at Miskin and completion of first-phase development

We recently celebrated a major milestone at our Miskin site in South Wales, marking 15 years since Renishaw acquired the site and the completion of the first phase of its £70 million expansion programme.

A special Open Day welcomed more than 800 employees, friends and family members, giving them the opportunity to explore the new Hall 3 development and employee wellbeing centre, see live technology demonstrations and discover more about the advanced manufacturing that takes place at Miskin every day.

Since 2011, the site has grown into a key manufacturing and engineering hub, employing around 950 people. The expansion programme will ultimately double the size of the site, reinforcing our commitment to manufacturing in the UK.

The Open Day also featured hands-on STEM activities for younger visitors, information on career opportunities at Renishaw and tethered rides in G-MEAS, our sponsored hot air balloon, raising money for Llantrisant-based charity 2wish. 🎈

📢 Renishaw FY2026 results: Record year with accelerating revenue growth and higher operating margin

We’re pleased to share Renishaw’s preliminary results for the year ended 30th June 2026, delivering a record financial performance with strong growth across all three business segments.

FY2026 highlights:
• Excellent progress in FY2026, with revenue and profit growth in all segments
• Strong progress in emerging product lines
• Well-positioned in a range of attractive markets
• Our innovation-led strategy is delivering, with important new product launches
• Disciplined investment to boost capacity to meet current upturn in customer demand, mindful of market cyclicality
• Continued focus on underlying productivity

🎈 G-MEAS at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta 🎈

We were delighted to see our hot air balloon, G-MEAS, take part in this year's Bristol Balloon Fiesta, one of the world's largest annual hot air balloon events.

Joining hundreds of balloons and thousands of visitors, G-MEAS helped create some truly memorable scenes in the skies above Bristol. The fiesta is a fantastic celebration of flight, engineering and adventure, and we were proud to be part of it.

📢 Vision for traffic-free greenway showcased as Charfield station nears completion.

As plans for the new Wotton-under-Edge to Charfield Greenway continue to progress, Renishaw was pleased to join other partners and community leaders to hear how the proposed traffic-free route could improve connections between local communities and the new Charfield station. The greenway would link key destinations, including Renishaw's New Mills headquarters, making it easier and safer for people to walk, wheel and cycle.

Dave Wallace, Renishaw Group Operations Director, said: "Renishaw is a long-time supporter of the greenway which will connect our New Mills and Charfield sites with the new station and local communities. This will help to reduce the carbon emissions from our employees commuting to work and provide a safe off-road route for all users."
