Project progress in Selatyn, Oswestry 🏗

This two-storey extension to a traditional stone cottage required careful consideration of the existing ground levels and adjacent boundary.

Our structural engineers worked closely with the client, architect and contractor to ensure all parties understood the temporary works requirements and sequencing constraints associated with constructing into the existing embankment.

Working closely with the client, Base: Architects & Planning and contractor, JPS designed the temporary earth-retaining solutions, permanent retaining structures, and the extension foundations and superstructure.

It is great to see detailed planning, engineering expertise and strong collaboration coming together to deliver what will be an elegant addition to an already charming property.
