Who loves orange! Such a satisfying colour to print, especially on our digital machine as unlike the majority of printers who used a standard CMYK digital - we have these, plus an enhanced Blue and Orange tank!

So if you want bright punchy colours, we can certainly deliver! if you choose a Pantone shade then because we have 2 extra ink tanks our colour gamut is much larger, and we can replicate many more bright Pantone colours than pretty much, well, everyone! 🎨 💙 🍊

For medium to long run work, we can offer a unique service whereby we can add a printed sequential number to the rear of the label liner, so you can easily keep track on how many labels you have left without having it on the label itself! Aren't we clever and full of cool ideas!

Cores, the framework of your label stock. Probably not the most interesting part of the process, but very important for storage and application!

44mm or 76mm as standard, but we can cater for custom widths if needed.

Topping up on our warehouse stocks this morning for 250mm transport diamonds, this is a class 4.1 used for storage and transport of flammable solids 🔥

The operators kindly slowed down the press so you can see the various layers being built up using the two ink stations (red, black) before moving on to be laminated, slit and die cut with all waste removed, and finally through the guillotine to be cut down to br guillotined into single labels.

Colours, they are everywhere we look, but do you know how we go about getting all those lovely shades made for the labels we print?

We get quite a lot of people (especially who are new to the labelling game) asking us what CMYK is, and why we can't print designs that use traditional RGB. Well, there is a long winded, boring, complex way of explaining this, and then there's this video we came across at the weekend which helps explain things perfectly!
