The real challenge was finding the ceiling joist’s! Something that is usually quite simple when over-boarding! They decided to change direction half way through the ceiling, and didn’t follow a regular pattern!

We removed the outdated cladded ceiling and replaced with an updated board and skim - the customer was over the moon with her new bathroom ceiling!

Second fix electrical work to follow after the customer has painted 🎨

It’s not always full rooms that need skimming, we’re always doing patch work! It might not look as pretty, but it’s a much more affordable option than skimming the full wall and if it’s blended in well like this, you’ll never see it once it’s painted!

A recent bedroom ceiling we completed over in Ellesmere Port - most of the old plaster had blown so we removed it all and replaced with a fresh coat of skim. Really enjoyed working on this job and the customers were made up with the end result!
