We had a (very belated) delicious company lunch to reveal our World Cup Sweepstake! 🌍⚽

This year, we did things a little differently and wanted to make everyone a winner. No one knew which country they had drawn until the big reveal, making it even more exciting!

We spent the afternoon eating fish and chips and enjoying some laughs together. This definitely cheered everyone up after England’s loss!😂

EVERYTHING STANDS STILL FOR A MOMENT. 🌑

Tonight, 12th August, the UK will experience its biggest solar eclipse since 1999. Here in Hampshire, more than 90% of the Sun will be covered by the Moon, with the eclipse reaching its maximum shortly after 7pm.

For a moment, everything stops. It’s a chance to put work on hold and look up at something extraordinary. But even when the unexpected happens, one thing should never change: safety comes first.

At ABUS Crane Systems, safety is at the heart of everything we do. From the design of our cranes and lifting equipment to the way they’re operated, every lift depends on taking the right precautions, assessing the situation and using the right protection.

The same goes for watching an eclipse. ⚠️
Never look directly at the Sun without proper eclipse glasses or suitable solar protection. No glasses? View it indirectly using a pinhole projector instead.
