We are delighted to announce the total raised during the first six months of the year in support of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance

Through the collective effort of our team and customers, we have successfully raised £700! We are incredibly proud of what has been accomplished so far and grateful to all who contributed.

Building on this momentum, we hope to match, and ideally exceed, the amount raised for our new chosen charity Yeovil Hospital Charity.

Last month, our team fabricated two flowplates for our customer, which were installed on site during a planned factory shutdown.

Flowplates play an important role in helping cheese and dairy factories to safely direct liquid between different vessels and processing lines.

On Sunday, we were proud to once again support and be a part of Sherborne Classics and Supercars Show!

As always, our involvement went beyond sponsorship as our team were on hand for the setup and were marshalling the incoming vehicles and the vehicles on the track!

It’s a great opportunity for us to give back to the local area, and support a fantastic event that brought together enthusiasts, families, and the wider community.

Today, we are celebrating 10 years of Watly Engineering Ltd!

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of marking this major milestone as we celebrated our 10th anniversary with an incredible evening alongside our team, customers, suppliers and those who have been a part of our journey!

What began as an idea between two friends has grown into a team of 21, built on a passion for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the next 10!

We’ve just wrapped up another fantastic week of work experience here at Watly Engineering!

This time we welcomed a student from another local school, giving them hands-on experience in CAD design and welding. Putting these skills into practice, they designed and fabricated their own pencil holder, and dice, which was proudly taken home at the end of the week with us.

It is always rewarding to support young people as they build confidence, develop practical skills, and explore careers in engineering.

We’re excited to welcome next year’s work experience students and are now open to applications for placements in the 2026–2027 academic year!

Despite the recent hot weather, our team has busy and working hard to fabricate a bespoke Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) system for a new customer!

This equipment is designed to clean the internal surfaces of pipes, vessels, and other process equipment throughout production, helping businesses uphold hygiene standards whilst reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency.

We look forward to seeing what this partnership will grow and develop in the near future!
