Operation was a success.. Bell swapped over, tweaks to bracing to fit and a custom made bell tail ferrule connector to suit the new bell tail diameter. The details matter!

I was tasked with changing this Monette Flumpet shank to a standard trumpet shank, being much much larger it required an entirely new shank part to be fabricated and fixed in place. An interesting challenge ensuring the bore matched perfectly leaving no harsh step.
