Friday Update 🔨

Another great week of progress on the Pinfold Cottage job. The lads have powered through some scorching days to complete the installation of the roof frame, including some really nice details.

The masonry has been dropped to suit the pitch, structural wall erected to sit on the previously concreted pads, and a hand cut roof with three velux windows cut and pitched.

Can’t thank the client enough this week - supplying water, pop, lollies and even cookies. We suspect he wasn’t aware of Alex’s unhealthy obsession with chocolate cookies.

On to some decorative fascia and brickwork next week, water tight is not too far.

Great progress on our Fulford conversion this week ready for the roof, after we take some down time over the bank holiday. It’s been a very busy start this 1st quarter and we are set for one of our busiest years yet. We even got Alex on camera after 5 years of asking, so pigs may fly later.

A good week for us at our new project - we’re having the day off tomorrow for some golf and the races whilst the concrete sets. Ready to hit the ground running next week!

So lovely to see this house become a home finally, for 2 of the nicest clients you could wish for.

Some projects are picking up where others left off. In this case the work carried out wasn’t anywhere near the standards our client initially bought into, when they purchased their property.

What started off as a simply roof repair soon lead to extensive works throughout. It’s been a pleasure to help our client on this one - but equally distressing to see them go through what they have.

This is exactly why we take so much pride and care in what we do. Our homes are so much more than walls and a roof and it’s paramount to us that we consider more than just being building contractors.

Comfort level 10/10 with our clients when you’ve spent the best part of a year working on their property! It is a great view to do your business in front of in fairness !
