Heat Pump Air Conditioning Service – Clifton Bingo Hall, York

We recently carried out the servicing of several heat pump air conditioning units at Clifton Bingo Hall in York, which we have proudly installed and maintained over the years.

Clifton Bingo Hall is one of our long-standing clients of over 20 years, and it’s always a pleasure to support them in keeping their building comfortable and energy efficient.

The site itself is a fascinating historic building, originally opened in the 1930s as a cinema. Much of the original projection and electrical equipment from that era is still in place, offering a glimpse into the building’s rich heritage.

Data Centre Cooling System Completed for Wood Plc, Darlington

BCS York Ltd recently completed a precision cooling installation for a data centre in Darlington on behalf of our long-term client, Wood Plc, with whom we’ve proudly worked for over 20 years.

The project required 45kW of cooling capacity delivered through a downflow system with remote monitoring and 100% redundancy, ensuring continuous operation even in the event of a system fault.

To meet the demanding specification and tight project schedule, we selected Mitsubishi Electric equipment for its proven reliability, energy efficiency, and strong manufacturer support. Despite the challenging timeframe, the installation was completed on time and within the agreed budget.

The new system includes a 36-month parts and labour warranty, fully supported by Mitsubishi Electric, and is covered by an ongoing maintenance package from BCS York Ltd to ensure continued optimal performance.

This project highlights our ability to deliver mission-critical cooling solutions quickly and reliably — keeping our clients’ operations running without interruption.

B&Q Rotherham. A 75kw Daikin Heat Pump Air Conditioning Ducted system was selected to provide Heating and Cooling for the main sales area. Mechanical Heat Recovery Ventilation (MHRV) system ensure the sales area air remains fresh. A further three over door heaters cover the main doors. The staff area also has Heat pump AC and MHRV. A challenging job due to the hight involved but we are all pleased with the result.

A static caravan near Malton. These get very hot in summer and very cold in winter. With only a 15amp power supply a 3.5kw Mitsubishi Electric Air to Air heat pump AC system was selected. Mitsubishi Electric are one of the most refined units on the market, they are very quiet and reliable. The pipes were run within black gutter down pipe to blend in, the outdoor unit was located underneath the caravan to maintain aesthetics.

This is a job we installed around 6 years ago in a printers. A Toshiba Heat Pump AC system with a Fabrair sock to deliver the conditioned air. The sock was installed so there are no drafts blowing paper around giving a even distribution of air. Also keeping the AC unit away from any ink or dust. A low ceiling height was also a restriction, the sock being fabric won't get damaged or cause damage when moving items around.
