Metallurgist discovered that pine oil helped sulfide minerals stick to bubbles better, making it one of the earliest frothers in mineral processing. Some called the circuit “the world’s biggest herbal sauna”.

Modern frothers have moved on, but the legend (and sometimes the smell) still floats around 😄😊
