Pioneering the Future of Electric Vehicle Training in Ghana!

From 17th to 20th December 2024, AfricaNEV made history by launching Ghana’s first Electric Vehicle Technician Training (EVTT) Program in Accra. This groundbreaking event marked a significant shift in our training approach, transitioning from a teardown model to an in-depth practical component study. While different from the hands-on excitement of a teardown, this method provided trainees with a more comprehensive and thorough understanding of key EV concepts.

The program brought together professionals from diverse industries, including insurance, port operations, transport regulation, industrial training, renewable energy, automotive service and maintenance, and the energy sector. Participants traveled from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and Spain, making this a truly international knowledge exchange.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority for hosting us, as well as GAPTE, TT Logistics and Transport Company, and Ijanu Ltd for their invaluable support during our site visits.

This is just the beginning! We are excited to expand our training programs across Africa in the coming months. Stay tuned for more updates!
