Base profiles influence the external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) along the entire length of the building base — both positively and negatively. Aluminum profiles, still widely used for structural stability, are highly conductive and can result in significant thermal bridging. But who wants that?
Both the Pro BSOP-HL and the Pro SOP base profiles are made of PVC and therefore inherently provide significantly lower thermal bridging than aluminum profiles. Even better, thanks to its innovative hollow-chamber geometry, the Pro BSOP-HL base profile clearly outperforms standard solid PVC base profiles.

Especially in the plinth area, a flawless appearance and a clean, perpendicular finish to the facade are crucial for an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS). When working with heavy insulation materials, the dimensional stability of the profiles used is particularly important.
The Pro BSOP-HL base profile features a unique product geometry with specially designed hollow chambers. These compensate for applied loads and maintain the optimal 90° installation angle—even when using heavy insulation materials such as mineral wool or wood fiber.
