Over the weekend I represented the Federation to speak with other eminent personalities to mark the Global Action on Climate Change and to foster advocacy on Renewable Energy generation mix in Ghana to meet the France Declaration of 10% by the year 2030. I gave a presentation on the need to have an effective waste management practice which has the catalyst to trigger the use of plastics as a prime material of choice for Renewable Energy generation mix in Ghana.
Let's all join hands to support this initiative which is creating an opportunity for us to have a less dependent on the traditional source of energy generation. We are currently experiencing an increase of 1% of our temperature figure which means climate change is with us; that also is a good source of material for renewable energy. Let's walk the talk to develop an effective Renewable Energy generation for the nation. The current generation is a paltry 0.03%. Too bad as a nation.
