As a proud fellow of the GHPP PharmTrain2 Biosimilars Assessment Fellowship in collaboration with Germany’s BfArM, I had the privilege to lead a transformative training in Accra from 27th to 31st October 2025.

Regulators from seven African countries (Kenya, Ethopia, Gambia, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, and Uganda) came together for an intensive week focused on advancing biosimilar regulation to ensure Quality assessment and accessibility of biologics (biosimilars) across the continent. This fellowship strengthens regulatory capacity and fosters collaboration, empowering participants with critical skills in Biosimilars assessment and regulatory oversight for public health. Grateful for this opportunity to contribute to Africa’s growing biosimilar landscape and regulatory excellence.
