🌍🎉 **Celebrating Ok Tedi’s 40th Anniversary!** 🎉🌍

If you glance at a map of Papua New Guinea, you'll find Ok Tedi at the heart of our beautiful nation. For the last 40 years, this region has stood as the “lungs of the nation,” a lifeline supporting countless communities and driving economic growth across PNG. Without the strength of Ok Tedi, the nation simply wouldn’t thrive as it does today.
This week, Ok Tedi marked its milestone 40th anniversary with a celebration like no other, attended by a high-ranking government delegation and guests from across PNG. It was a powerful reminder of how much this region means to us all! From its contributions to infrastructure and education to the many lives impacted by the jobs it provides, Ok Tedi has made a lasting difference for four decades—and counting!
We are proud to have been part of this historic celebration here in Tabubil, where our team worked tirelessly to cater the event, showcasing our best and sharing in the festivities with our fellow Papua New Guineans. A massive shout-out to Ok Tedi for 40 incredible years, and here’s to many more to come! 🌄💪🇵🇬

At Fubilan Catering Services, we're proud to promote our local fresh vegetable suppliers right here in the communities surrounding the mine! Through our community-based assistance program, we're not only providing our clients with top-quality produce, but we're also empowering local farmers by creating sustainable opportunities.
And the future looks even brighter! With the new road project connecting to Telefomin, we anticipate receiving fresh vegetables of the same high quality as those from our Highlands suppliers. This means more local produce, more community support, and even fresher ingredients in every meal!

We at FCS believe in making a positive impact wherever we operate from. At our UPNG Campus location, we take this commitment seriously!
We're proud to support the local community through various sponsorships and initiatives, and for this month alone our assistance included:
* Prize contributions to the UPNG Morobe Student Union Pageant Night scheduled next week to celebrate student talent and culture.
* Silver sponsorship of the UPNG Soccer Association presentation held last Sunday, promoting sportsmanship and healthy competition.
* Financial assistance for the Law School Ball Night, to create memorable experiences for the final year Law students -this sponsorship was done in collaboration with our UPNG partner, PADS Security Solutions.
These are just a few examples of our ongoing efforts to empower the UPNG community.
