In Patras, at one of the most important youth sailing competitions in Greece, Alcon Marks Robotic Buoys made their first appearance at a fully sanctioned national championship — and delivered in style.

Conditions were technically demanding: shifty winds with frequent direction changes and strong current tested the system to its limits. The result spoke for itself — precise course setting, swift adjustments on the fly, back-to-back races without a single delay, and a perfect course throughout.

The Hellenic Sailing League — one of the most prestigious sailing events on the Athens Riviera — made its first edition a landmark one, with 19 top-level teams competing in extreme conditions exceeding 30 knots.

Our robotic buoys didn’t just hold their ground in the tough weather: they gave the race committee the ability to fine-tune the course in real time as conditions evolved.

Following their successful debut at the Cyclades Cup, our robotic buoys returned to set the course at this iconic event, proving that the earlier performance was no fluke. Once again facing challenging weather and strong winds, the buoys held their positions with the same precision and reliability — no issues, no exceptions.
