MCT Brattberg are extremely excited to share that we have been awarded additional three TenneT offshore substation platforms.

We are proud to be selected as the provider of MCT system for the prestigious project. The multi-cable transit frames for the first platform Ijmuiden ver Beta have already begun and will be followed by Ijmuiden ver Gamma and NWBE.


“This is one of the most important renewable energy projects in the world right now and we are very proud to be a part of it,” said Mikael Trofast, Marketing Director at MCT Brattberg. European energy transition is one of the greatest challenges in history. The goal is to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. TenneT answered to this historical challenge by constructing high-voltage direct current (HVDC) offshore grid connection systems with a transmission capacity of 2 gigawatt (GW) per platform. The project also marks another milestone in our growth in Asia.
