The new Stephenson Harwood offices in Athens are featured in ek magazine, Issue 311 | October 2026.

Located in Palaio Faliro, the 1,500 sqm workplace unfolds across three floors of a renovated office building. The design brings together focused work, collaboration and client-facing spaces within a coherent architectural framework, with a double-height social hub connecting the main reception and event areas to a landscaped outdoor terrace.

Developed through a phased Design & Build process, the project reflects an approach to workplace design that balances operational requirements with the experience of the people who use the space.

Our journey began in Stockholm with a visit to the Bolon Lab Store, followed by an inspiring trip to their HQ and factory in Ulricehamn, where we got a closer look at the craftsmanship, innovation, and processes behind their products.

Aperi 1955 has been longlisted for the Archello Awards 2026 in the House Extension of the Year category.
In Aperi, Karpathos, two buildings from different periods have been brought together as one residence. A stone-built house dating from before 1955 and a concrete addition from 1977 form the starting point for an architectural intervention that connects the existing structures with contemporary living.

The finalists will be announced in November.

Can universities become catalysts for the next generation of urban districts?
At this year’s Prodexpo, A&M Architects curated and participated in the panel “Universities as Real Estate Catalysts: How Campuses Reshape Cities, Investment and the Next Generation of Urban Districts,” represented by our President & CEO, Michael Mavroleon.
Together with Anne Papageorge (University of Pennsylvania), Christina Paraskevopoulou (Alphabet Education Group) and Constantin Pechlivanidis, MSc. (PREMIA Properties), the discussion explored the growing potential of student housing in Greece, bringing together perspectives from education, real estate investment, campus development and architecture.

From balancing investment performance with quality of living to rethinking the relationship between student accommodation, university campuses and surrounding neighbourhoods, the conversation highlighted an important opportunity: to look beyond student housing as an individual real estate asset and recognise its potential as a catalyst for community building and urban regeneration.

At A&M Architects, we believe the value of a development should not be measured solely within the boundaries of its site, but also by the positive impact it can create beyond them.

Thank you to our fellow panelists, Vassilios Bartzokas and moderator Danai Makri for an engaging and insightful discussion.

The Ellinikon Mall from vision to reality. As development progresses, The Ellinikon Mall moves closer to becoming a new destination for Athens. Spanning 185,000 sqm, the mixed-use development brings together retail, food and beverage, leisure and commercial spaces within a large-scale urban project that rethinks how people experience shopping, work and public life.

Designed by Aedas, with A&M Architects as Architect of Record for LAMDA Development, the project already received the International Architecture Award in the Mixed-Use Buildings category back in 2024.

A project to watch as one of Athens’ most ambitious urban transformations continues to take shape.
