The world's deadliest creature isn't what you'd expect.

At BIOPIX-T, we are proud to mark World Malaria Day with the launch of the AmpliPan Malaria Test Kit — a cutting-edge diagnostic solution designed to support global efforts in the fight against malaria.

Our new test kit uses real-time colorimetric qcLAMP technology to detect the DNA of all five human-infecting Plasmodium species: P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale (Curtis & Wallikeri), P. malariae, and P. knowlesi.

Compact, user-friendly, affordable and designed for rapid and accurate field deployment, the AmpliPan test kit includes all necessary components for easy sampling and analysis — empowering healthcare professionals worldwide.

BIOPIX-T’s AmpliPan Malaria Test Kit underscores our commitment to accessible, high-performance diagnostics in the global health landscape.

BIOPIX-T is proud to present validated performance data for the AmpliPan Malaria Test Kit:

· 100% specificity for Genomic DNA, Whole Blood & dried blood spots

· High sensitivity with 96.9% for Genomic DNA, 94.4% for WB and 97.2 for DBS

· Improved accuracy with 97.5% for Genomic DNA, 95.2% for WB and 97.7% for DBS

· Exceptional limit of detection with less than 10 parasitized cells/ul for genomic DNA, less than 25 for WB and less than 10 parasitized cells/ul for DBS.

This level of diagnostic accuracy empowers health professionals with rapid, reliable, and field-deployable tools to fight malaria, especially in endemic and resource-limited settings.

A world without malaria is possible - through innovation, collaboration, and unwavering commitment.

Let’s continue pushing boundaries in diagnostics to protect the most vulnerable and save lives.

🌍 Celebrating Success: Positive Evaluation of the ResTick Project 🌟

BIOPIX-T is thrilled to announce the successful evaluation of the ResTick project, led by Kotsyfakis Michail and the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) where we proudly serve as a partner in this transformative research consortium!

ResTick focuses on addressing the urgent challenges posed by ticks as disease vectors, particularly in combating the Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). As climate change reshapes ecosystems and amplifies disease risks, the need for innovative and proactive solutions has never been greater.

🎯 Key Objectives of ResTick:

✅ Develop early warning and monitoring systems for ticks and tick-borne diseases.
✅ Create affordable, user-friendly diagnostic tools for point-of-care applications.
✅ Establish predictive models for tick abundance and disease prevalence.
✅ Build a dedicated network for studying tick species, pathogens, and interactions in SSA.

By leveraging advanced molecular ecology, cutting-edge technologies, and interdisciplinary collaboration across molecular biology, veterinary science, epidemiology, and diagnostic assay development, ResTick is pioneering One Health approaches to safeguard public health and enhance resilience against tick-borne diseases.
