The tradition of collecting olive and making olive oil has been passed on from generation to generation in order to produce the highest quality extra virgin olive oil with the same natural methods. The ''Doleon'' extra virgin olive oil is a single source 100% olive juice from the superior ''Koroneiki'' variety. The ''Koroneiki'' variety olive trees are of the most famous and oldest in the world. This variety has been grown in Greece for 3,000 years and these olive fruits are chock-full of antioxidants. The oil is cold pressed using only mechanical means and absolutely no use of any chemicals. Depending on the year the acidity is not exceeding 0,1% - 0,5% making it rare even between other Extra Virgin Olive Oils. The family's attention to every detail, the unique location of the land between the mountains and crystal blue waters of the Messinian gulf, the climate with sun more 3.000 hours per year and the geological rocky condition are just some of the ''secrets'' that gives the ''Doleon'' Extra Virgin Olive Oil an exquisite taste and unique bouquet of aroma.

At the heart of what we do is Doleon Greek Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Grown from 5,000 Superior Koroneiki olive trees, aged 80 to 150 years, in the village of Doloi, Kalamata region, Greece. Nestled on sloped terrain at 200 to 350 metres altitude, facing south-west. Harvested entirely by hand each November and December, cold-extracted within 8 hours to preserve every drop of extraordinary flavour and nutritional power.

Doleon is more than a food product — it's a daily wellness habit backed by science.

Thanks to its exceptionally high phenolic content, Doleon is one of the few worrldwide to carrie a certified EU health claim (Regulation 432/2012) for protecting blood lipids from oxidative stress. Most olive oils require 20g daily to deliver this benefit. Doleon's concentration is so high that just 7 grams a day is enough.

We can now officially say that consuming "Doleon Greek Premium "Extra Virgin Olive Oil is good for your health!
Why? Because "Doleon" is one of the few olive oils worldwide to have a certified health claim, in accordance with EU regulation 432/2012, as it contains very high amounts of phenols.
"Doleon"is certified that is good for your health! We were always aware of that, we just wanted to make it official:)
According to the European Regulation 432/2012, olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress.
The claim can only be used for olive oil which contains at least 5mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives (e.g. oleoeuropein and tyrosol complex) per 20g of olive oil. See our analysis for the results!
Olive oil polyphenols help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial results on the prevention of heart attacks and the treatment of inflammation, are ensured with the recommended daily intake of 20g of olive oil.
