Are you a postgraduate or PhD student in Archaeological Sciences? Apply for the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 “𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗼𝘀 𝗭𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘀” and present your work in an oral session with waived registration fees.

Prof. Nikos Zacharias organised the 1st ARCH_RNT Symposium in 2008, and served as the Chair of the Organising Committee until his passing in 2024. The Student Award “Nikos Zacharias” is given to honour his memory and his continuous dedication to the support of New Researchers.

🔖CALL FOR ABSTRACTS🔖
The 𝟗𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛_𝗥𝗡𝗧 will be held in Kalamata, Greece, in hybrid mode, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟴 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟬 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The ARCH_RNT Symposia focus on the use of New Technologies in the Archaeological Research (Archaeometry, Computing Technology, Conservation and Restoration) notably with the presentation of interdisciplinary approaches, special case studies and research on archaeological material and assemblages.

This year’s Special Sessions are:
🕍 Decoding Ηistoric Βuilding Μaterials for Μonument Μanagement
🎨 Colour and Pigments: In Memory of Prof. Ioanna Kakoulli

ℹ️ All abstracts will be eligible for publication in a Special Issue of the 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 and should be submitted by June 1, 2026, at [email protected]
