A graduate of the Hellenic Supreme Joint War College (class of 2012) and National War College/National Defence University (Washington DC), (class of 2020), and holder of a Master of Science (MSc) in National Security Strategy from the latter University, he brings invaluable leadership and strategic thinking experience to our company.

Visit to Malta International Airport – Training at ENEMED

KALYMNOS FUEL ENGINEERING LTD continues to expand its international presence, offering high-level technical support and specialized training to its partners worldwide.

On October 25th, 2025, the Company Director, a Mechanical Engineer (MSc), visited the facilities of ENEMED at the Malta International Airport to provide on-site training on the operation of the SAMPI Master Meter with TEX recorder, which our company recently supplied.

The training session included:
• An in-depth presentation of the system’s functions and capabilities
• Practical demonstration of testing and calibration procedures
• Training on reading the information displayed, and guidance on accurate data recording and analysis through the TEX system.

By integrating the SAMPI – TEX metering solution, ENEMED, Malta’s leading fuel supplier, has strengthened the accuracy and reliability of its operational processes.

This visit also reaffirms KALYMNOS’ commitment to being a trusted technical partner across the Mediterranean fuel handling industry.

Continued Staff Training at ROTORK Headquarters – Bath, United Kingdom

KALYMNOS FUEL ENGINEERING LTD invests in continuous training and technical expertise, ensuring top-level know-how and reliability across its services.

From October 20th to 23rd, 2025, our technical team attended an advanced training program at ROTORK Headquarters in Bath, United Kingdom.

The training focused on:
• The installation and commissioning of the Rotork Master Station - PAKSCAN communication system
• The implementation of the SIL (Safety Integrity Level) function on Rotork Actuators, designed to enhance safety and operational reliability of a Safety System (SIS).

Proud to have successfully completed our Rotork training this week!

A Week of Collaboration with TTSI in Northern Ireland

Earlier this month, KALYMNOS FUEL ENGINEERING had the privilege of spending a week in Markethill, Northern Ireland, working closely with Tank Testing Services (Irl) Ltd (TTSI).

Mr. Ioannis Kalymnos, in his role as Technical Consultant & Deputy Technical Manager, conducted an internal technical audit, reviewing inspection procedures against the latest ADR 2025 and ISO/IEC 17020 standards. The scope included:

• Monitoring daily tanker inspections.
• Verifying the application of updated SOPs and checklists.
• Training and mentoring inspectors on exceptional and overdue inspections.
• Ensuring full compliance with current legislative requirements.

Beyond the technical aspects, this week was above all about people — working side by side with a skilled and dedicated team that embodies safety, compliance, and craftsmanship.
A warm thank you to our colleagues at TTSI for their professionalism and commitment throughout this engagement. It is an honor to contribute to the continuous improvement of such an esteemed organization in the tanker inspection sector.
