Samos Summit on ICT-enabled Governance is held in Samos Island, Greece, during the first week of July, where top scientists, scholars, researchers, businesses and administrations gather to advance digital transformation and governance. The Samos Summit on ICT-enabled Governance offers an unprecedented opportunity to see, interact with and influence cutting-edge Information and Communication Technologies research projects and initiatives. Attended by high caliber experts from research, administrations and enterprises worldwide, the Samos Summit focuses on the newest developments of ICT applications in the areas of digital governance. Specific focus in this year’s summit will be given to the following topics:
- Citizen Science approaches for evidence-based decision making and policy support in administration, business and society
- Big data management and AI technologies in policy support, with an emphasis in simulation, mining and visualization approaches
- Interoperable infrastructures and cloud technologies for open and collaborative governance in future cities
