On November 22nd, we had the pleasure of connecting online to present BRISWA 2.0 at the multiplier event organized by Prof. Eleni Aretouli and her amazing team at the University of Ioannina, as part of the ODLEP Project. 🎓🌟
During the session, we showcased the significance of the BRISWA 2.0 project and its role in promoting innovation in higher education. It was a fantastic opportunity to share insights and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about advancing educational practices.
A huge thank you to Prof. Eleni Aretouli and the entire ODLEP team for their exceptional organization and dedication to making this event impactful. 🙏

On November 12th, Georgios Tsaples, Managing Director of IDS, had the privilege of presenting career opportunities for environmental engineers through European programs. 🌍✨
The presentation highlighted the role of Erasmus+ in fostering innovation in education and empowering professionals to take part in impactful projects. One of the key topics was the BRISWA 2.0 project, which was presented in detail, showcasing its relevance and potential.
A heartfelt thank you to Aikaterini Ziniati and her incredible team for organizing this inspiring event. 🙏 I would also like to thank the Department of Environmental Engineering at IHU for hosting and creating such a vibrant platform for collaboration and learning.

We proudly announce our participation in the BRISWA 2.0 Project (KA220-HED-57DAE8A7 – 000154019). The BRISWA 2.0 project aims to answer the question: Is it possible to teach about racism in higher education from a systemic perspective? The partnership believes that the answer is affirmative by using a systemic approach to understand racism, by developing tools that will allow students to experiment freely with the knowledge and finally by providing them a training forum where they can test their knowledge in a simulation pilot training.

To achieve the objectives of the project, several activities have been envisaged, which include:
– Studying socio-policy elements of racism, past policy efforts to combat it and identifying the educational needs of universities on the subject
– Developing the material of the BRISWA 2.0 course
– Teaching the course at different universities around Europe
– Disseminating the project and developing an anti-racism campaign that will run for the entire project
