Η 28η Οκτωβρίου είναι ημέρα τιμής για τη γενιά του 1940, για εκείνους που ύψωσαν το ανάστημά τους απέναντι στον φασισμό και πολέμησαν για την ελευθερία της πατρίδας μας.

86 χρόνια μετά, ο αγώνας τους εξακολουθεί να μας συγκινεί.

Η σημαντικότερη παρακαταθήκη της γενιάς εκείνης βρίσκεται στο παράδειγμά της. Η ελευθερία δεν είναι ποτέ δεδομένη, αλλά αξίζει να την υπερασπιζόμαστε με το ίδιο θάρρος, ακόμη και στις πιο δύσκολες στιγμές.

Last week, our CEO and owner travelled to Warsaw to visit GABER, our Polish partner, during Warsaw Home.

The Gaber team had prepared an extensive furniture display featuring XYLOKAT decorative surfaces. Our flagship 3D Textured Panels appeared alongside newer additions to our range, offering visitors a closer look at the materials through finished furniture applications.

Seeing the presentation in person and spending time with the Gaber team made the visit especially worthwhile. We appreciate the attention they devoted to our products and the work they continue to do in the Polish market.

A big thank you to everyone at Gaber for the warm welcome and all the effort behind the exhibition. We're glad to be working together in Poland!

Wood veneer has changed alongside the tools and production methods of each era.

What would you see if you could watch a landscape change for years?

Through the relief of 3D Textured Panels, that almost imperceptible passage of time becomes easier to follow. Water works its way through the land and wind gradually rounds its edges. Before it became part of the balcony, the wood had already taken years to become itself.

Solid wood keeps that sense of origin close. Its grain follows no template. Each piece carries variations that are entirely its own.

On a sheltered balcony, the fit feels natural. Near enough to the outdoors to feel connected, near enough to the home to slip into everyday life.

Oak never needed a comeback. It was already in the family album.

Its grain belongs to living rooms planned with a longer view, where value is expected to mean just as much years from now as it does today.

The route to production is more direct. Factory-lacquered and ready for machining, the panels go straight to cutting or routing, without another lacquering stage waiting in the wings.

Bathrooms are usually expected to feel newly finished. Palaiomeno looks elsewhere.

Its weathered character comes from timber altered by time and exposure. In a bathroom, that aged surface shifts the room away from the expected and makes space for something less conventional.

Choose the optional factory lacquer and the panel arrives finished in water-based ICRO lacquer. That removes a separate lacquering stage and the chemical waste connected to it.
