bluMartin won second prize at this year's Component Award from the Passive House Institute.

The award was presented last Friday at the 22nd International Passive House Conference in Munich.
The competition focused on inexpensive ventilation solutions for the housing industry.

Ventilation plans for an apartment building with apartment sizes of 50-100 m² were submitted.

The expert jury's assessment included life cycle costs resulting from investment, maintenance and energy costs, as well as planning aspects, the architectural quality of the device integration and the practicality of the ventilation solution.
The planning partner of bluMartin was the architectural office Andramis from Wuppertal.

Ideal solution especially for small apartments
