We are pleased to expand our long-standing cooperation with G&O Maritime Group, strengthening a relationship that spans many years. OCEANKING has now signed a new agency agreement to represent Atlas Incinerators in Greece. The agreement was signed at Posidonia 2026 by our General Manager, Carola Yannouli, and René Christian Olsen, Head of After Sales at G&O Maritime Group.

Through this agreement, OCEANKING can now support shipowners across Greece with ATLAS incinerators for both newbuilding and retrofit projects. ATLAS Incinerators are widely recognized for their robust construction, high combustion efficiency, and reliable performance under demanding onboard conditions. The latest model, the X10 TITAN, delivers lower fuel consumption, reduced maintenance, and significant CAPEX and OPEX savings.

The partnership provides shipowners with continuity of support throughout the equipment lifecycle. Customers have access to genuine OEM parts, ATLAS-approved engineers, and a global service network, complemented by OCEANKING's local technical expertise. This combination allows for efficient maintenance planning, reliable spare parts availability, and consistent service standards—helping operators manage costs and maintain compliance with confidence.

We were honored to sponsor the "Ερχόμεθα προς την Θάλασσαν" Award ("We are coming to the Sea") Award for Contribution to Maritime Thought at the 18th Efkranti Awards, organized by Naftika Chronika—a ceremony that this year also marked the magazine's 95th anniversary.

The award was presented to Capt. Panagiotis N. Tsakos, in recognition of decades of contribution to maritime dialogue through the pages of Naftika Chronika. Since 1978, Capt. Tsakos has shared more than 35 articles and interviews, consistently championing the improvement of maritime education in Greece and the need to attract new generations to the sea—values that resonate deeply with us.

Our CEO, K. Hasiotis, and General Manager, Carola Yannouli, had the privilege of presenting the award, which was received on behalf of Capt. Tsakos by Charalambos Hatzimichail, General Manager of Tsakos Shipping & Trading SA.

It was a privilege to take part in an evening that honors those who honor Greek shipping. Congratulations to Capt. Tsakos and to all this year's distinguished recipients, and thank you to Naftika Chronika for the kind collaboration.

Beyond the technology and the business, Posidonia is most importantly about people—and the moments we connected with others were really the highlight of this week.

From members of the Oceanking team and our valued partners to the many visitors who stopped by, our stand was full of energy and meaningful exchanges. One of the highlights was the talk by bound4blue and NAPA on wind-assisted propulsion and voyage optimization, which sparked great conversations.

We were also especially glad to welcome the next generation of maritime professionals on the final day. Students from AEN Oinousses visited to discuss the industry and experience our partner ARI Simulation training simulator up close. We also had the pleasure of meeting young people from the Young Executives Shipping (YES) Forum, a platform dedicated to bringing new graduates into the maritime sector. Our Sales Director, Apostolos Bekiaris, spoke with both groups about the industry and its future.

The curtain has fallen on Posidonia 2026, and we couldn't be happier and prouder of the week we've had. There's something truly special about seeing face-to-face the people we speak every day—meeting them up close, sharing real conversations, and of course bringing all our partners together under one roof and connecting them with our clients.

This week was everything we hoped for and more. We strengthened relationships that already meant a lot to us and we sealed new partnerships we're excited to build on. And throughout it all, we were honoured by the trust so many placed in us—not just in words, but in action.

The level of conversations, the volume of visitors, the energy at our stand—it all made for an incredibly fruitful week. Posidonia 2026 has left a deep mark on us, and we're already looking forward to everything that comes next.

Today at our Posidonia stand, we hosted a presentation by bound4blue and NAPA on "Maximizing eSAIL® Benefits with Voyage Optimization." Bound4blue's Sales Director Europe, Henning Steffen, joined Claus Stigler from NAPA to discuss how wind-assisted propulsion and intelligent voyage planning drive decarbonization impact.

The discussion showed how optimized routing harnesses favorable winds without compromising schedules, directly reducing fuel consumption and EU maritime/ETS exposure. Deep understanding of each vessel's hydrodynamic behavior enables precise optimization and measurable performance gains. When wind propulsion systems work together with intelligent voyage optimization, the potential for fuel and emission savings becomes truly significant.
