DK Fotinakis successfully completed repair works on the passenger vessel Christina O, a private motor yacht that once belonged to the Greek billionaire shipowner Aristotle Onassis.

The project was executed during dry-docking operations at the Vasiliades Graving Dock facilities in Drapetsona, ensuring high standards of safety, technical precision, and quality workmanship throughout the intervention. The vessel was successfully serviced and prepared for continued safe operation.

This marks yet another successful delivery within the Piraeus ship repair ecosystem, reinforcing DK Fotinakis’ expertise in complex marine repair and dry-docking projects.

DK Fotinakis has completed the hatch cover repair works on the M/V MALAK M, a container vessel.

The project focused on restoring the efficiency and reliability of the hatch cover systems, including detailed inspection, corrective works, and adjustments to ensure proper sealing and watertight integrity. The intervention was carried out in close coordination with all parties involved, ensuring smooth ex*****on and minimal operational impact.

A strong emphasis was placed on quality control and safety throughout the process, resulting in a fully restored system, ready for safe and efficient cargo operations.

The repair of the KRITI KING, a crude oil tanker, has been successfully completed following a demanding scope of work carried out with precision and close coordination.

Every stage of the project was executed with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational reliability, ensuring the vessel’s full readiness to return to service.

Over the past few weeks, DK Fotinakis has been managing a series of demanding repair and maintenance projects on more than 9 vessels simultaneously at SKARAMANGAS SHIPYARDS, including Suezmax and LR type tankers.

The scale and technical complexity of these operations highlight both the company’s expertise and Skaramangas Shipyards' strategic role as one of the few facilities in the Mediterranean capable of servicing vessels of this size and operational demands.

The increasing presence of large commercial vessels at Skaramangas further reflects the strong momentum of the Greek ship repair sector and the growing regional demand for reliable, high-capacity repair solutions.

DK Fotinakis successfully completed repair works on the NG DRILLER, focusing on the driller superstructure of this multi-purpose offshore unit.

The project included structural repairs and reinforcement, ensuring full compliance with operational and safety requirements. All works were carried out according to high industry standards, with our team’s customary attention to detail and efficiency at every stage.
