About us

Dr. Pantelis G. Rigas founded RIGAS LABS in 1989. The company started mainly as a distributor of scientific instruments for analytical laboratories. It also provided full technical support (methods development, troubleshooting etc.) to its customers.

At its inception the company’s objectives were to develop techniques and instrumentation for the characterization of substances, applications in the fields of analytical chemistry, chromatography, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and analytical method development. Over thirty (30) years in analytical chemistry business, RIGAS LABS has been continuously pursuing these goals, with a consistent desire to develop innovative, effective and reliable technologies.

The Company is the exclusive distributor of companies that are leaders in the instruments industry worldwide, such as Thermo Fisher Scientific USA, Velp Scientifica, Fisher Scientific UK etc. View all partners »

From 2003 the company is registered as RIGAS LABS S.A. and is a member of the Greek Chamber of Commerce while our personnel are members of the American Chemical Society Division of Analytical Chemistry Chromatography Subdivision and Division of Polymer Chemistry as well as the Greek Chemical Society.
