Company’s main target was to manufacture cabinets and special rooms with controlled environment and besides to supply advanced technology equipment, laboratory equipment, chemicals, reagents etc. In 1987 was decided to cover also Southern Greece, establishing the first subsidiary in Athens
The same year the company expands its business outside off the Greek territory
In the year 1994 the company
moved into new privately owned offices both in Thessaloniki and Athens. In 1999 CONTROLA S.A. was certified according to EN ISO 9001. This was the result of many years effective quality assurance initiatives. today operates under the following independent sectors:
Production of Freeze Dryers and quality control equipment such as Freeze & Thaw cabinets, Calcimeters etc. Supply of laboratory equipment, chemicals, reagents and consumables
The company employs 23 people with various educational backgrounds, most of them are chemists, biologists, chemical engineers, electronic engineers, who are in close co-operation with customers and manufacturers, securing all parties full advantages and benefits through dealing via one source. The administration office and sales team are situated inside Thessaloniki's center, while the R&D, production and warehouse are located in the industrial park of Neohorouda (Near Thessaloniki). Our wide range of products, all of highest quality, are manufactured according to international standards. Among our customers are all the well known Food industries, Dairy industries, Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Petrochemical industries, all the Power plants, Universities, Research institutions, Hospitals and big Private labs. During the last years we have realized exports to the following countries: Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Albania, Fyrom.
