Spring meets innovation.
This project showcases cherry orchards thriving under an agrivoltaic system, where crop production and clean energy generation coexist on the same land.
The installation combines:
▪ 100% transparent glass (0 Wp) for protection from extreme weather
▪ 80% transparency panels (120 Wp) for energy production

Not long ago, this project in Agros, Cyprus was under construction.
Nectarine trees in full bloom, thriving under our semi-transparent Agri-PV system.
This project integrates Brite Solar panels BSG-300_54-F, 54% transparency, designed specifically for agricultural use.

What we see is simple. And powerful:
✔ Trees developing naturally
✔ Protecting trees from extreme weather
✔ Energy is being generated at the same time
This is the real promise of agrivoltaics:
not replacing agriculture but strengthening it.

🍒 ‼️What if the same cherry orchard could produce both fruit and clean energy?
📍Two types of panels were integrated into the system: 🗝️fully transparent solar glass (0 Wp) and 🗝️semi-transparent panels (80% transparency – 120 Wp)
🔴The transparent modules act as protective solar glass with anti-reflective and hydrophobic coating, designed mainly to safeguard the orchard while allowing maximum light for the trees. The semi-transparent panels simultaneously generate renewable electricity while maintaining sufficient sunlight for crop growth.
🔴During severe frost events, cherry trees under the agrivoltaic structure remained protected, while nearby uncovered orchards suffered significant frost damage.
