Wrapping up an incredible journey at Panathēnea 2026! 🏛️ .festival

💡The energy throughout the entire event was truly unmatched. We are heading back with unforgettable impressions, invaluable insights, and amazing new connections with brilliant minds across the tech ecosystem.

🤖The absolute highlight for the HERMES Team was our participation in the House of Robots!

🦿Representing the University of Thessaly .of.thessaly, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase our active involvement in the deep-tech space. It was a privilege to present our projects, share our vision for healthcare & biomedical robotics, and discuss how cutting-edge technologies and Physical AI are shaping the future of medicine and patient care.

🤝 The networking experience was simply outstanding, allowing us to exchange ideas, explore potential synergies, and connect deeply with fellow tech enthusiasts, innovators, and industry leaders.

Meet the Software Subsystem of Hermes Team 🌟

The software subteam builds and maintains the software that runs the exoskeleton, handling everything from reading sensors and commanding motors to the graphical interface the pilot and engineers interact with. The system is built on ROS 2 and manages the full pipeline from user input through safety validation to movement ex*****on, with all behaviour governed by a central state machine. A simulation environment using Gazebo allows the full system to be tested without physical hardware present.

🚀 We are thrilled to announce that our team will be participating in the House of Robots - an official side event of Panathenaea 2026!

🦾 For those unfamiliar, Panathenaea is a premier tech and innovation festival taking place from May 27th to May 29th, bringing together global pioneers, ecosystem leaders, and deep-tech enthusiasts in Greece. Members of our team will be present throughout the entire three-day festival, actively networking and exploring new collaborations.

🤖On Friday, May 29th, we will be at the House of Robots, hosted by Big Pi, Acumino, and PROTOTYPE. This event focuses on the incredible trajectory of Physical AI - machines that fly, navigate underwater, and operate on factory floors. We can’t wait to showcase our work, connect with fellow founders, engineers, and investors, and join the panel discussion on where the field stands today.

We’ll wrap up the evening with rooftop drinks in central Athens, and we’d love to see you there!

🌟Η Hermes Team στο Thessaly Tech Hub Forum🌟

💡Έπειτα του διήμερου Thessaly Tech Hub Forum στη Λάρισα το Μάιο του 2025, η Hermes Team είχε τη χαρά να παρευρεθεί για δεύτερη φορά στη συνάντηση που διεξήχθη στο Βόλο στις 16 Μαΐου 2026, παρουσιάζοντας το έργο της και τον ρομποτικό εξωσκελετό που αναπτύσσει.

🚀Ήταν μια εξαιρετική ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε από κοντά ανθρώπους που δραστηριοποιούνται στο χώρο της τεχνολογίας, ανταλλάσσοντας ιδέες και συζητώντας για το μέλλον της ρομποτικής με εφαρμογές στην βιοιατρική.

🤝 Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε θερμά όσους επισκέφθηκαν το stand μας, έδειξαν ενδιαφέρον για το project μας και αφιέρωσαν χρόνο για να συζητήσουν με την ομάδα μας! Επίσης, ευχαριστούμε θερμά τη διοργάνωση για την πρόσκλησή της για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά!

Meet the Electrical & Electronics Subsystem of Hermes Team 🌟

This Subteam is responsible for designing and developing custom PCB boards that integrate and manage the exoskeleton’s electronic systems. Through carefully engineered circuits, the team ensures optimized power distribution , critical noise reduction, ergonomic cable placement and reliable signal and sensor implementation. By integrating thermal simulations and advanced power management strategies into the design process, the team enhances system efficiency, safety, and overall reliability ⚙️

🤖 Το τριήμερο 8-10 Μαΐου στο Μέγαρο Χορού Καλαμάτας, η HERMES Team του Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλίας είχε την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσει τα ερευνητικά της έργα, να συνομιλήσει με πλήθος επισκεπτών και να ανταλλάξει καινοτόμες ιδέες με εξαιρετικούς επιστήμονες και λάτρεις της τεχνολογίας.

🏛️ Θέλουμε να εκφράσουμε τις θερμότερες ευχαριστίες μας στον Δήμο Καλαμάτας για την άψογη διοργάνωση και την υπέροχη φιλοξενία σε όλη τη διάρκεια του φεστιβάλ. Είναι πραγματικά ελπιδοφόρο να βλέπουμε τέτοιες πρωτοβουλίες να αγκαλιάζουν τη ρομποτική και τις νέες τεχνολογίες με τόση επιτυχία!
