🙂The 1-week-long summer course was a new and successful summer school focused on the contemporary challenges for civil engineers, both from a philosophical and an applied side.
During the event, the faculty members and students were exchanging ideas around the lecture topics, making it a real laboratory for comparative and collaborative thinking.
Students from different semesters of civil Engineering School, combined academic courses with cultural adventures.

Idea75, a Links Group company, is partner of the AddoptML - ADDitively Manufactured OPTimised Structures .

The ADDOPT ML project, with the objective of defining a design-build process for civil engineering constructions supported by Additive Manufacturing and techniques, involves researchers, engineers, scientists, institutions and SMEs from Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Italy, Jordan, the Netherlands and Spain. Idea75 is contributing with its expertise in machine learning.

On 12 July, Vincenzo F. Zeffiri, PM of the project, attended the mid-term to discuss achievements and plan the next three-year strategy together with researchers Evangelia Frangedaki, G.-Fivos Sargentis, Athanasios Stamos, the team from Athens and Mario Spinelli, a researcher from Idea75, working at NTUA - National Technical University of Athens.
