Thank you so much to the HKIE Dragonboat Team for inviting us to collaborate on this dragon boat event. It was truly meaningful and unforgettable for everyone!

In this one-day experience, we learned how to play dragon boat step by step—from the very fundamentals—through professional guidance.

Coach Wilson taught us effective movement and helped us improve together as a team. 🚣‍♂️

We were also excited to see that some participants registered for the dragon boat team immediately!

Wishing you all great success in upcoming competitions! 🏆

Lastly, HKIE Dragonboat is now open to recruit members for any class of members within HKIE. If you’re interested in joining, please contact the HKIE Dragonboat Team anytime. 📩

The HKIE YMC successfully conducted a technical visit to Autotoll Limited on 25 April 2026, attracting nearly 20 young engineers and committee members. This visit provided a deep dive into the design and ex*****on of the HKeToll project, a vital part of Hong Kong’s development into a Smart City.

During the session, speakers shared the real-world engineering challenges they faced, including complex data analysis, account management, and the development of specialized hardware. A major highlight was the exclusive tour of the HKeToll control room, where participants saw firsthand how the team monitors live charging and traffic flow in real-time.
By seeing the technology in action, our members gained a much deeper appreciation for the innovation and hard work required to keep Hong Kong’s traffic moving smoothly. We would like to thank the Autotoll team for their insightful sharing and for supporting YMC’s mission to broaden the industry exposure of our young engineers! 🛠️✨
