The delegation visited ๐—๐ข๐š๐ง๐ ๐ค๐š๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ, a leading integrated Contract Research Organization (CRO), Contract Development Organization (CDO), and Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) platform. The company specializes in medical device research, registration, and manufacturing. Through in-depth technical exchanges with industry experts, the interns gained valuable insights into the complete medical product pipeline and lifecycle management.

The program continued with site visit to ๐†๐ฎ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฒ (๐†๐ƒ๐Œ๐•), one of Chinaโ€™s world-class biomedical clusters and investment incubation platforms for biotechnology enterprises. Within the hub, interns gained valuable technical exposure to translational research and advanced precision medicine modalities supporting clinical applications. The interns also analyzed how pharmaceutical logistics, venture capital, industrial incubation, technology transfer, and strategic alliances synergistically accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical healthcare solutions.

InnoHK Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre (ABIC) is delighted to share that our Research Associate, Ms. Denise WONG Chung Wai, was named the Winner of Falling Walls Lab Hong Kong on 5 June 2026, with her inspiring presentation, โ€œBreaking the Wall of Cell Therapy Discovery Bottlenecksโ€.

As the Hong Kong winner, Denise will advance to the global Falling Walls Lab Finale at the Falling Walls Science Summit 2026, taking place from 6-9 November in Berlin, Germany, where finalists from around the world will present their breakthrough ideas before an international audience of leading scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and Nobel Prize laureates.

Since 2009, the Falling Walls Science Summit has brought together the world's brightest minds to identify and overcome barriers in science, technology, and society. The event serves as a premier global platform for breakthrough innovations with the potential to create meaningful impact for humanity.
