TIGA Milk was honoured to be invited to share our sustainability vision at the Future-Ready Hong Kong Summit 2026, held on 12 June at Nina Hotel, Tsuen Wan.

The Summit brought together leaders and innovators across sectors to discuss pathways towards a low-carbon and future-ready society. We are grateful to Chinachem, Hang Seng Bank, and Hong Kong Tech 300 (City University of Hong Kong) for the invitation and collaboration.

During the event, we shared a simple yet powerful idea: sustainable food innovation can begin with a single crop. Through our tiger nut cultivation projects, we are exploring how tigernut plantations can help combat desertification, restore degraded land, and create livelihood opportunities for local farming communities. At the same time, these efforts support the development of nutritious and sustainable food products such as TIGA MILK.

The conversations at the Summit reaffirmed our belief that the future of food is not only about what we consume, but also about how it can contribute to environmental restoration and social impact.

We look forward to continuing this journey towards a healthier planet and a more sustainable food system.

It was an honor to join the World Green Organisation (WGO) session at Build4Asia 2026 to discuss a topic close to my heart: “Accelerating ESG Transition through Innovation in Smart Cities.”

At Meat the Next, we believe that a truly “Green Building” isn’t just about the materials in the walls, but the resources consumed within them.

As we discussed “Accelerating ESG Transition,” I was proud to showcase how our TIGA MILK is more than just a beverage—it’s a climate solution:

Restoring the Earth: Our Tiger Nuts are grown to combat desertification, turning arid land into productive soil. When property developers look for ESG-compliant catering or office solutions, they are choosing environmental restoration.

The 1/3 Carbon Rule: TIGA MILK produces less than 1/3 of the carbon emissions of traditional dairy. For smart buildings aiming for Net Zero, switching the “office latte” to a Tiger Nut base is one of the easiest, high-impact wins for Scope 3 emissions.

We’re very happy to be part of the inaugural Hong Kong Hiking Festival at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Amphitheatre —where everyone can enjoy TIGA MILK along the trail and recharge on the go.

Over the years, from gymnastics to table tennis, tennis to marathons, we’ve consistently supported athlete development and the broader sports community. Days like this remind us why we do it: helping people move more, recover better, and build healthier habits—together.

Had an amazing day at the Hong Kong Nordic Walkathon along Lung Wo Road in Admiralty, walking towards Central—connecting with over 7,000 participants, including elderly, parents and children, as well as hikers and sports lovers.

What touched us most was seeing familiar faces. Over the past few months, we’ve met many of you at different community events, and this time some people came up and said they had already heard of TIGA MILK. Moments like that remind us that impact isn’t built overnight—it’s built step by step, conversation by conversation.

We also loved sharing why tiger nut matters in everyday wellness. Tiger nut naturally contains vitamin E, which supports recovery and muscle relief, and it’s also a good source of calcium to support bone development. Had a meaningful “Meat the Next” sharing session at Tak Oi Secondary School with Edmund Chan, co-founder of Meat the Next.

We shared what we’re building and why: a sustainable food tech venture exploring how diet change and ingredient innovation can reduce environmental impact—while still delivering nutrition and great taste. Edmund walked students through how a food idea becomes a real business: sourcing and supply chains, product R&D, technology choices (including enzyme and fermentation approaches), food safety, and how we measure success beyond sales through ESG and real-world outcomes.

We also discussed the reality behind “innovation”—small experiments, constant iteration, listening to users, and learning from what doesn’t work. In the Q&A, students asked sharp questions about challenges and setbacks. Edmund’s message was simple: stay curious, stay adaptable, and keep improving step by step—failure is often part of building something that matters.

Thank you, Tak Oi Secondary School, for having us. We’re grateful for the conversation and excited to see the next generation bring fresh ideas to the future of food.

We’re honored to have been selected for the Next Kitchen program in Kobe, Japan.

Throughout the program, we gained valuable experience and insights into how deeply Japan is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food security and food safety. Through our presentation and conversations with food and beverage partners, we were excited by the strong interest in collaboration.

We look forward to co-developing new products together—combining our unique plant-based ingredients with our patented enzyme technology to create solutions that are both delicious and sustainably made.
