Last week at NAIS, things got hands-on, a little messy, and totally amazing. We challenged the students to take everyday food waste—like leftover eggshells and used cooking oil—and literally transform it into clean, working biofuel.
The ultimate test? Pouring their custom green energy into toy cars and racing them to the finish line. 🏁
When kids actually build and test these solutions themselves, the concept of a "circular economy" instantly clicks. They aren't just reading about renewable energy—they are engineering it.
