is an important art and cultural facility situated in the , Hong Kong. Based around a contemporary interpretation of classic Chinese visual and spatial aesthetics, the museum design builds on a concept of linked courtyards translated into a vertical series of atriums that draw the visitor upwards.

Located adjacent to the Art Park and facing Victoria Harbour, the system consists of 4,022 unique double curved aluminium panels with thousands of structural steel supports at the back. This exceptional complex system shapes the personality of the main reinforced concrete structure. Thus, the Hong Kong Palace Museum will provide a distinctive cultural bookend to the District at its western end.

This seminar will introduce practical solutions to challenges encountered during the design and construction stages of the project. It also provides an opportunity to explore the latest technologies for projects with complex profiles and understand the perspective to approach problems in next projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities
• Direct and oversee completion of project
• Develop plan of action including schedule, resources, work plan, overall project planning, management and co-ordination works
• Responsible for overall project planning, management and co-ordination works
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans
• Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, Building or Construction Management (Curtain Wall System) or relevant disciplines.
• TCP (T3 / T1) qualification
• With at least 10+ years of relevant experience in which 5 years in a supervisory level.
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese English
• Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
• Self-motivated, independent, responsible and strong communication skills
• Experience working with a team
• Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of a Project Manager

Degree/High diploma holder in Building Studies/Construction Management

5 years or above post graduated experience minimum 3 years of experience in residential / commercial projects, experience in aluminium window and curtain wall is required

Need to coordinate with superiors, contractors, and all other colleagues in project management

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, MS project, etc.

Knowledge in technical drawings & Auto CAD is preferred

Mature, self-motivated, detail-oriented and good communication skills

Fluency in spoken and writing in both English and Chinese

High Diploma in architecture / engineering

Min. 5 years working experience in drafting services with experience related to building construction industry

Good skill of AutoCad, 3D rendering and BIM are preferred

Applicants with less experience will be considered for the post of a Design Engineer / Draftsman
