telecom operators, especially in Africa where we work closely with the large Chinese telecom equipment suppliers Huawei and ZTE. The generators are mostly used to power the base transceiver stations (BTS) that make up mobile telephone networks. These BTS must work 24/7 and are often located in places with intermittent or nonexistent electricity grid supply, making a reliable and independent power supply essential

3Tech manufactures the LionRock Power series of a full range of diesel generators, customized for telecom specifications. LionRock can provide water cooled, oil cooled and air-cooled AC or DC gensets with all-in-one integrated design, 1000-hour extended service kit, high security fuel supply system and suitable controllers for central monitoring and hybrid power solutions. We were thrilled to welcome the IET Hong Kong Chapter team back to our facility today — this marks their third visit, and every time it feels more like catching up with trusted industry peers than a standard site tour.

During this latest visit, our guests revisited our core operational zones, getting an up-close look at our upgraded power units, expanded energy product lines, optimised data centre infrastructure and latest methanol generator sets. It was the perfect chance to show the real progress we have made since their last two visits.

These repeated, open exchanges let us dive deeper into practical technical insights, discuss shared industry challenges, and align on where sustainable power and data solutions are heading next. We greatly value this long-running, hands-on collaboration and look forward to growing these conversations further.

New plant. New chapter.

On 14 October we opened our new manufacturing plant in Foshan, Guangdong — and marked it the way it should be: a lion dance to start the day, a ribbon cut with our partners standing beside us, and a room full of the people who made it happen.

13,000 sq m. 200 MW+ a month. Around 100 generator sets. 24-hour load testing before anything leaves the floor.

In the afternoon we talked about what comes next at our industry seminar; in the evening we raised a glass to it.
