LPC Charity Education Innovation and Application Officially Delivered✊
Dedicated to promoting educational innovation and development, LPC previously donated virtual reality (VR) equipment and a MTR-themed program to Fortress Hill Methodist Secondary School, aiming to help students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) better understand and master social behavior norms in daily life. This donation is one of LPC’s ongoing initiatives to advance educational technology and support special education.
Fortress Hill Methodist Secondary School has always been at the forefront of innovative education, continuously exploring how to leverage technology to enhance teaching quality, especially for students with diverse learning needs. The school has introduced unique teaching facilities, including a ”Fortress Hill Bus Classroom“ transformed from a decommissioned bus, a situational learning room called ”Fortress Hill Cafe,“ and the ”DREAM BIG“ restaurant, to stimulate students‘ interest and motivation in learning. The charitable education from LPC has undoubtedly provided the school with a new dimension to meet the educational needs of SEN students.
The MTR-themed VR program provided by LPC features a series of life-like scenarios, allowing students to practice and experience various social interactions in a simulated environment. For example, in a typical application scenario, students can take on the perspective of a virtual character in a subway train, observing and learning how to respond to different reactions from surrounding passengers, thereby improving their social skills and adaptability. This situational learning approach not only enhances student engagement but also effectively helps them apply what they have learned to real-life situations.
Through this collaboration, LPC hopes to encourage more companies to pay attention to and support innovation and development in this area. In the future, LPC will continue to explore more avenues to create a more inclusive and enriching learning environment for more students.
