Updates from SEED2STEM Transnational Meeting 2 in Turkey! 🌍

Our SEED2STEM team recently gathered in Izmit, Turkey, for an impactful transnational meeting hosted by Youth Eurasia. The focus was on advancing Work Package 4 (WP4): developing an IoT curriculum tailored for young learners interested in agricultural applications. 🌾💻

During this three-day meeting, our partners from Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey collaborated on key aspects, such as structuring the IoT curriculum, integrating Arduino Cloud for ease of use, and creating engaging learning formats. We’re especially excited about the upcoming virtual escape room, designed to make learning IoT in agriculture interactive and fun! 🎮🌐

The event fostered meaningful exchanges, and partners outlined next steps, including testing the AGRO STEM curriculum with focus groups and gathering feedback to ensure its effectiveness. This collaborative effort brings us one step closer to empowering young people with valuable skills in STEM and sustainable agriculture. 🚀📚

SEED2STEM LEARNING MOBILITY IN ROMANIA - AGRO STEM PLATFORM

On the third and final day, participants explored the AGRO STEM Platform, a digital tool designed to support youth workers by providing access to the AGRO STEM curriculum—with plans to include the IoT curriculum in the future.

🔍📲 Participants tested the platform's functionalities and navigated its content, engaging in discussions about its potential applications in educational settings. The day concluded with participants sharing their insights on usability, features, and areas for enhancement.

Our second day was all about diving into the DIGITAL INCUBATOR Curriculum, a project result developed by the University of Applied Sciences Zagreb, WALKTOGETHER, and Youth Eurasia.

📚💡 In the morning, participants explored the curriculum's knowledge components and had the opportunity to test various aspects of the course firsthand. The afternoon brought an exciting hands-on experience, where participants constructed a Digital Incubator from scratch, gaining insights into its functionality and practical applications.

📋✍️ As a tangible outcome, youth workers and partners provided valuable feedback on the curriculum, which will guide future improvements and ensure the program meets the needs of learners.

🌍🌱 Learning Mobility in Romania Update!

Our project is underway in Romania! 🎉🌿 Over the past few days, 16 youth workers from Romania, Croatia, Turkey, and Bulgaria have gathered to test the results of our first two work packages:

SEED2STEM Learning Mobility Announcement 🌱

We’re excited to share that our next SEED2STEM Learning Mobility is happening from September 30 to October 4, 2024, în Curtea de Argeș, Romania! 🇷🇴✨

During this event, youth workers from across Europe will come together to test the AGRO STEM platform and curricula, which combine STEM education with sustainable agriculture. 🌾💻

Key activities include:
🔸 Testing the AGRO STEM Curriculum: Hands-on trials of modules like Basics of Programming and Digital Incubator to ensure they are practical and easy to implement with young learners.
🔸 Platform Usability: Youth workers will evaluate the usability of the digital platform, ensuring it is accessible, intuitive, and valuable for everyday use.
🔸 Collaborative Feedback: Participants will share insights and recommendations, helping to refine and improve the learning materials before the official launch.

We're thrilled to announce that we're making significant strides in our mission to bridge the gap between technology and organic farming through our AGRO STEM platform.

🌿 What's happening? In the first phase of development, we've been hard at work crafting a high-fidelity prototype for the AGRO STEM platform. This platform will be a game-changer, empowering youth workers to educate young minds about the transformative potential of technology in organic farming and promoting agricultural enthusiasm among the next generation.

📚 What's next? We're eagerly pushing forward towards our goal. By end of 2024, we aim to unveil the fully developed AGRO STEM platform, equipped with a comprehensive curriculum. 🌱 Exciting News from SEED2STEM: Planting the Future of Education! 🌱

We're thrilled to share the highlights from our recent milestone event – the 1st transnational meeting of partners held from February 5th to 7th, 2024, in Curtea de Arges, Romania. This gathering brought together 11 passionate representatives from partner organizations, including IT and STEM experts, all dedicated to shaping the future of education.

During the meeting, our diverse team collaborated tirelessly on laying the groundwork for our project, which is financed within the Erasmus+ program. The focus of our discussions was the framework for AGRO STEM platform and curriculum, both of which are set to bring innovations in STEM education for youth.

🚀 Launching SEED2STEM: It’s time for the first transnational meeting of partners!

💡 In order to lay the foundations for the successful implementation of the project, partners are meeting in Romania from February 5 to 7, 2024.

💡 The goal of the meeting is to establish a framework for the development of the results of work packages 1 and 2 of the project, which is about the AGRO STEM curriculum and the AGRO STEM platform for young people and youth workers.

💡 Together, the partners will shape ideas, create content and define guidelines for the work of the development teams in the upcoming project period.
